Position changes decisions

In position means acting after an opponent on the current street. You see their action before choosing yours. Out of position means acting earlier.

The button has the latest normal postflop position. The blinds often act early after the flop even though they acted late preflop.

Relative position depends on which players remain. Position is an information advantage, not a guarantee that a particular hand should always be played.
