Was this lesson clear?
22 Oct 2026 · 1.1.0 (14) · iPhone TestFlight
- Finishing a lesson now shows what you can do, where you are in the 12 basics, and one optional question: “Was this lesson clear?”. Yes, Mostly or Not really; one tap is enough, and you can say what got in the way.
- Next takes you straight to the lesson Fish2Shark recommends, or go back to Today. Finishing all 12 basics says you’re ready for a home game.
- Got a tester invite code? Enter it in You › About & feedback. Your feedback is then tagged as coming from a home-game player or a complete beginner, and Today shows one question per version. You can leave the group any time.
Why: Learners finished a lesson and were dropped straight into the next one with no sense of progress, and there was no simple way to say a lesson was confusing. Source: Internal review.
Usage sharing, off by default
22 Oct 2026 · 1.0.2 (13) · iPhone TestFlight
- You › Settings › Usage sharing: an optional switch for Google Analytics. It is off until you turn it on, and nothing is sent to Google Analytics before that.
- When it’s on, Google Analytics receives which screens you open (from a fixed list such as Today, a lesson or the practice table), when you open the app and for how long, a random app-instance ID, and your device type, system and app version. Never your account, email, hands, notes, feedback or anything you type, and no advertising identifier.
- Turning it off stops collection at once and resets the app-instance ID on your phone. The privacy policy has a new section, “Optional Google Analytics”.
Why: To see which parts of Fish2Shark people use and where they stop, only from players who choose to share it. Source: Internal.
Who makes Fish2Shark, how to reach him, and chips only
21 Oct 2026 · 1.0.1 (12) · iPhone TestFlight
- You › About & feedback shows who makes Fish2Shark, your exact version, and links to the privacy policy, terms, help and this page.
- Send feedback from About, or from Finn’s explanation (“Something wrong here? Tell us”). Messages wait on your phone until they can be sent.
- The home-game tracker counts chips only: no currency, money amounts or who-pays-whom. Saved games open as chip counts with every recorded amount kept.
- On iPhone, Sign in with Apple comes first, and the sign-in screen links the terms of use and privacy policy.
Why: The app didn’t say who makes it or offer help inside it, and the home-game tracker recorded money amounts. Source: Internal review.
Clearer lessons and accessibility
18 Oct 2026 · 1.0.0 (11) · iPhone TestFlight, Android internal
- VoiceOver and TalkBack labels, text up to 200%, clearer tutorial cues and rewritten coach tips.
Why: Accessibility and tutorial testing. Source: Internal testing.
Starts without a tap
15 Oct 2026 · 1.0.0 (10) · iPhone TestFlight
- The app no longer stays on Finn’s start-up picture until you tap. Sign-in buttons redrawn, and the iPad password field no longer capitalises.
Why: Reported by the founder in internal TestFlight testing. Source: Internal testing.
Rebuilt as a native app
14 Oct 2026 · 1.0.0 (6–8) · iPhone and Android test builds
- Rebuilt natively in Godot. Same lessons, same progress, new table and coach screens.
Why: One native app for iPhone and Android. Source: Internal development.
First test builds
7–13 Sep 2026 · 1.0.0 (1–5) · iPhone and Android test builds
- First iPhone and Android test builds of the course, placement and practice table.
Why: Building the course and practice table. Source: Internal development.
