Make your best five

At showdown, choose the strongest five-card combination available from your two hole cards and five community cards. You do not have to use both hole cards.

You may use two, one, or none of your hole cards. If the board itself is your best hand, you are playing the board.

Only five cards count. A sixth card cannot break a tie.
